And the Winners are

US! Yeah us! The House today voted out the Bailout. Thank the heavens(not that im religious) that they didnt pass that piece of shit. If it had gone through, the taxpayer(you and me) would have had the burden of paying for the mistakes of the few in charge on Wallstreet who thought the last two decades were a party. It wasn't a party, turns out, but a big toilet, one where they threw all their money into, and watched it swirl away. I read an article earlier, that had a quote saying, "if a mom and pop makes bad investments, they go out of business" and no one bails them out. so why do we need to bail out companies that have caused their own downfall? Because the companies make lots of donations to the political realm? Maybe.

And what about the way that they provide their CEOs and CFOs and other high level management with huge severance packages, and huge bonuses for jobs not well done. Why should we the taxpayer have to pay for a CEO to get his millions of dollars a year for doing almost nothing to help the company they are working for? Because Big business has its hands in Government, and gets to make decisions that are bad for us all, but good for them. Why should anyone be making millions of dollars to run a company. I can understand making money from investments, or from owning a business, but these are supposedly public companys, that hide what they make, how they pay, and who gets the proceeds. How is that public>?

So write your congressman/(woman) and tell them thank you for being responsible for once. And write the Media and tell them they are part of the problem. There were protests in New York city, but did major media cover this, no.
